Why 'The 2548 Group'? |
The group became known as 'The 2548 Group'
following the purchase of Birmingham City Transport 2548 (JOJ 548) in
April 1979. |

What can I do to help? |
Well, money to help fund restoration work
is always welcome, the group sometimes need to purchase items required for
the restoration and to pay for some specialist work.

2548 is located at the Aston Manor Road Transport Museum, Witton, Birmingham. |

Can I come and see the progress? |
Yes you can view 2548 when the museum is
open or by private appointment. |

When will the restoration be complete? |
We do not yet know when restoration work
will be complete, it depends on how much time the team have available, and
on the group having sufficient funds available.
Following the excellent progress made in 2008 we hope to complete the renovation work in 2009. |

Why am I unable to view the Gallery Pictures? |
To view our 'Gallery Pictures' Javascript
must be enabled in your web-browser, and your browser should be configured
to allow pop-ups from this site (holding the Ctrl Key when you click the

Why am I unable to view the 2548 Video? |
The 2548 Video requires the
DivXTM Web Player
be installed on your system, without this your system will not be able to
play the video. |

Why do many of the Gallery Thumbnails/Images have rough
edges on Horizontal or Vertical lines ? |
In order to reduce the image sizes and
improve download speeds (from our server) most of the Gallery Images are
re-sampled versions of the original high resolution scanned Photographs or
Digital Camera pictures, the 'zig-zag' effect is the result of the
re-sampling process. |
