Fitting of lower Saloon lighting and bell pushes (22nd Apr 2009). New engine sump fitted (24th Apr 2009). Lower Saloon Floor structural re-refurbishment complete. Awaiting laying of lino and fitting of battery boxes. (25th Apr 2009). Conductors waybill holder re-fitted (25th Apr 2009). Installation of Lino underlay in lower saloon complete (13th May 2009). Laying of lower saloon lino. (7th Jun 2009). Fitting of battery boxes. (10th Jun 2009). Fitting of lower saloon seat mounting blocks (30th Jun 2009). Application of moquette to structure panels and front bulkhead in lower saloon (29th Aug 2009). Fitting of lower saloon floor grip-treads (24th Sep 2009). Final varnishing of all wood fascia cappings in lower saloon (11th Oct 2009). Fitting of electrical isolation switch and replacement of all battery leads and starter motor cables (13th Oct 2009). Lower saloon seats and vertical handrails fitted. (25th Oct 2009). Reconnection of lower saloon bell pushes, side lights, number plate light and indicators. (8th Nov 2009). Engine radiator renovation completed and refitted (17th Nov 2009). Upper saloon nearside front corner panel (aluminium) repaired and refitted. (22nd Nov 2009). Final gloss coat of upper saloon windows pans (31st Mar 2010). Belt sanding of Upper Saloon Floor (3rd Apr 2010). Installation of Lino underlay in upper saloon (24th Apr 2010). Overhaul of rear wheel rims. (24th Apr 2010). Installation of Lino in upper saloon (3rd May 2010). Overhaul of rear upper saloon emergency exit door (23rd May 2010). Fitting of upper saloon wooden seat blocks. (13th Jun 2010). Pick pocket strips re-fitted in upper saloon. (14th Jul 2010). Overhaul of fluid coupling completed and refitted with rebalanced drive shaft to gear box (27th Jul 2010). Fitting of leather cloth in upper saloon (27th Jul 2010). Upper saloon grip treads refitted (9th Aug 2010). Fitting of canopy over staircase (24th Aug 2010).
Work in progress:
Started Re-painting of lower saloon ceiling above platform (suspended until warmer weather returns) (15th Aug 2009). Painting of exterior re-started (suspended until warmer weather returns) (28th Nov 2009). Preparation of upper saloon grip treads (3rd Apr 2010). Upper Saloon ceiling painting resumed. (1st Jun 2010). Fare table frame and transparent cover re-manufacturing nearing completion (27th Jul 2010). Re-fitting of decorative wood cappings commenced in the upper saloon (15th Aug 2010).
